Check Out Our CopleyConnect Pop-Up Park June 8th-17th!

GOODE was recently hired by the City of Boston to design, furnish, and program a 10-day pop-up park, called COPLEY CONNECT. This pilot project is in the heart of Boston, and transforms Dartmouth Street into a pedestrian plaza space that connects two of Boston’s most iconic civic spaces–Copley Square and the Central Branch of the Boston Public Library. These two adjacent spaces are going through separate improvement projects. The COPLEY CONNECT pop-up responds to the proposed improvements by creating a mid-block crossing aligned with future design plans. It also provides flexible programming space for library activities, farmer’s market expansion, café seating, food trucks, performances, block parties, outdoor yoga, dance lessons, and much more.
