Goode Landscape Studio (Goode) is seeking a dynamic Project Manager or Associate with 4-6+ years of professional experience. Our ideal candidate thrives in a small firm environment and is comfortable wearing many hats.

We are curious, passionate, and rigorous designers who work on a diverse range of projects and scales. We work on planning and design for public parks, plazas, streetscapes, pollinator gardens, myco-remediation, climate adaptation, mixed-use developments, waterfronts, playscapes, cemeteries, and residential landscapes.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently

  • Strong design and technical expertise in construction document preparation

  • Experience in construction administration

  • Experience in project management

  • Strong graphic communications and hand sketching skills

  • Ability to assist with proposals and present to clients

  • Ability to assist with calculating budgets, labor & material costs

  • Have a good sense of humor and a compassionate, patient, and collaborative spirit

  • A highly organized and dependable work ethic

  • Comfort interacting directly with principals and clients

  • Have potential for leadership

  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office

  • Knowledge of plant materials native or adapted to New England

  • Experience with grading

  • Holds a BLA or MLA from an accredited institution

  • Licensure is not required, but is a plus

  • GIS skills are a plus

 

Responsibilities include:

Landscape design, project management, construction documentation, construction administration, preparing and delivering client presentations, preparing project schedules and budgets, creating clear and gorgeous project graphics, building 3D models, assisting with design research, and ability to mentor less experienced colleagues.
