Courtney Goode, RLA, ASLA | Founding Principal
Courtney Goode, RLA, ASLA is the Founding Principal of Goode Landscape Studio and has a hybrid background in landscape architecture, visual media, and industrial design. She finds inspiration in cultural narratives, ecological systems, visual storytelling, and the material language of landscapes. She believes in the power of landscapes to bring people together in creating healthy, diverse, and sustainable communities. Her love of the outdoors comes from her upbringing in the rugged terrain of north and central Texas. Her love of community has emerged over the past decade of living in more dense, diverse, and vibrant neighborhoods across New England.
She is a Registered Landscape Architect in RI, MA, and ME. Before starting her practice, she worked for top-tier architecture and design firms in Boston, Austin, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brussels. She serves on the faculty at the Rhode Island School of Design, and her work is published and exhibited widely. She has presented multiple times at the national ASLA conference and served as a guest lecturer at Harvard GSD, Northeastern University, MICA, the BAC, and Virginia Tech. She holds an MLA I from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and a BFA in Design from the University of Texas.
Evan Davenport, ASLA | Associate
Evan Davenport is an Associate at Goode Landscape Studio with a background that combines civil engineering, architecture, and landscape architecture. He enjoys the challenge of negotiating dynamic systems within contemporary landscape architectural practice. His interdisciplinary approach engages a site’s physical, natural, social, and historical contexts to draw relationships between its often opposing forces. He believes in the power of design to find creative ways in which ecological health and societal needs can benefit mutually and create resilient communities.
Evan holds a BS in Civil Engineering and Architectural Studies from the University of New Hampshire and an MLA I from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has lived in, worked on, and studied landscapes across MA, RI, and NH.

Cici | VP of Naps
Cici brightens our office and provides much comfort and comic relief. Loves treats, naps, and occasional dancing. On a typical day, she is found napping and having epic adventures in dreamland. She is truly an expert in her field.
Icy | VP of Belly Rubs
Icy joins us with extensive experience in companionship, naps, and belly rubs. She excels at receiving love and pets during deadlines and is always ready for belly rubs.
